INTERN

WANT TO INTERN AT ELIZABETH WHIBLEY LTD? CURRENTLY CLOSED SORRY!

We are very glad to offer up exciting and insightful internships for elizabeth whibley ltd. This is an opportunity to work closely with brand director and designer Elizabeth (BA Textile Print, MA Fashion Design) and her skilled seamstress Katie (BA Fashion Atelier). The studio is based in Cliftonville, Margate, Kent UK.

Elizabeth is looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual. Your enjoyment of a similar aesthetic and inspiration points is a bonus but not crucial, your creativity as an individual will be appreciated and we want you for YOU!

There will only be one intern at one time so this is a very personal opportunity to understand how business is run, the process and planning behind it and seeing an idea go from sketch to sample; to promotion to sale and packaging and posting. This internship will outline an insight into all aspects of elizabeth whibley and inspire you and give you knowledge and experience to have your own brand. On completion you will leave having developed transferable skills to take into your own practice or another workplace or creative studio.

You will be a valued member of the team and will be working alongside Elizabeth Whibley rather than for her. This is a mutually beneficial voluntary opportunity and we look forward to welcoming suited candidates to work on a selection of activities in the brand so it’s never ever a dull day:

  • Exclusive one off collection pieces
  • Jewellery making
  • Packing and postal runs
  • Sampling
  • Creating online content, reels, photos, BTS, IGTV
  • Research and inspo tasks, mood boards
  • Stock counts and admin
  • Hand sewing, machine sewing
  • Pattern drafting and cutting
  • Assisting on photoshoots and events

If you would like to join the focused but fun studio environment please email your CV, portfolio and anything else you find relevant to hello@elizabethwhibley.co.uk with the email subject title ‘INTERN APPLICATION
